Mystic Waters ist fertig, hier aufgespießt am Zaun hinter dem Haus, und ich habe den Kopf ab sofort wieder frei für andere Dinge. Das Muster ist prachtvoll, fast zu schön für den täglichen Gebrauch. Das Stricken war abwechslungsreich und hat im Prinzip Spaß gemacht, aber derartige Knitalongs sind nicht so recht für mich geeignet. Ohne Druck habe ich mehr Spaß am Stricken, und am liebsten denke ich mir selbst etwas aus, auch wenn das Ergebnis nicht so schön und professionell wird wie bei diesem Tuch.

Mystic Waters is finished. You see it pronged at the fence behind the house, and from now on my head is free to think of other things. The pattern is gorgeous, almost too beautiful for daily use. Knitting it was a lot of variety and fun, but I've learnt that knitalongs like this one are not my cup of tea. I prefer knitting without pressure, and anyway devising my own patterns is what I like best, even if the result is not as lovely and professional as this shawl.
