We do have a discussion about the item of making precise in-
and decreases. In the former edition - I think that was
version 5. you were able to draw very exact when you did
want to increase 2 stitches. every 2nd row.
When you will have a look at my drawing in the blog:

you will see, that it is not possible to make a shape file
with this exact movement of stitches as shown.-
We would be delighted, when you either could tell us how to
make this precisely drawings in DK 7 - ore will make an
update for this matter.
I have bought a cable for interactive knitting, but it is
useless, when you will have to revalue these things in order
to knit them correctly.

Hello Ingeborg,
This Exact Stitch Layout is one of the new features in a major update to DesignaKnit that will come out this year (but no target date yet). If you are registered with a distributor I expect they will let you know when it's ready.
It isn't possible to have tight control in DK7. One suggestion is not to have points closer together than 2 rows and 2 stitches. This confuses DK7.

This upgrade has taken several years to produce, but we aim to keep the upgrade price down to something like a third of normal price. So cheap!
