Habt ihr schonmal eher ungewöhnliche Stücke wie z.Bsp. Unterhosen, ein Kleid, einen Rock, Nierenwärmer, Vorhänge, Hüte (nicht Mützen!), Pferdedecken usw. gestrickt?

Ja, z.B. einen Hut sowie Kleider und Röcke. Letzteres ist mit der Strickmaschine kein Problem und auch nicht ungewöhnlich. Eine Zeitlang waren solche Sachen modisch, und meine sahen so gut aus, dass ich sogar Aufträge von anderen Leuten bekam.
Einen Vorhang fürs Küchenfenster habe ich in Erwägung gezogen, werde ihn aber wohl doch nicht stricken. Unterhosen — warum nicht, wenn’s 20 Grad unter Null hat und man an einer zugigen Bushaltestelle warten muss (habe ich öfters erlebt), haben sie durchaus ihre Daseinsberechtigung. Eine Pferdedecke würde ich wohl kaum stricken.
Did you ever knit rather unusual things like underpants, a dress, a skirt, kidney warmers, curtains, hats (not the simple kind), horse blankets etc.?

Yes, I did, a picture hat for example, as well as dresses and skirts. Those are no problem with a knitting machine and not at all unusual. For a while, such garments were very fashionable, and mine looked so good that I received several orders to knit them for others.
I considered knitting a curtain for the kitchen window, but I think I’ll abandon this project. Unterpants — why not, having to wait at a drafty bus stop at -20°C below zero (which I experienced many a time) is a good reason to knit some. But a horse blanket, rather not.
