Das erste fertige Geschenk – the first finished present

Es sind noch neun Tage bis Weihnachten, und ich habe schon ein Geschenk von fünf fertig. Ob ich wohl die restlichen vier auch noch schaffe?
Kinderpullover aus 210 g Baumwoll-Sockengarn (Fischer “Sport Cotton”, 75 % Baumwolle, 25 % Polyacryl, 400 m/100 g), gestrickt mit MW 6 auf dem Feinstricker. Die Volants im Pfauenschweifmuster sind von Hand angestrickt, deshalb hat es auch so lange gedauert. In die Biesen an den Ärmeln kann man ein dünnes Gummiband einziehen, falls die Ärmel zu lang sein sollten.

Still nine days until Christmas, and I’ve finished one present of five. I wonder if I’ll manage to get the remaining four done in time.
Child’s sweater made of 210 gr cotton sock yarn (Fischer “Sport Cotton”, 75% cotton, 25% acrylics, 400 meters per 100g), knit with tension 6 on the standard gauge machine. The flounces are knit by hand, that’s why it took me so long. The pintucks at the sleeves can be threaded with fine elastic thread, just in case the sleeves are too long.
