Ein Gefühl wie Weihnachten – A feeling like Christmas

Heute kam ein Päckchen von der Wollerey an. Von außen war es relativ unscheinbar, aber innen, wunderschön verpackt in feines Seidenpapier (in meiner Lieblingsfarbe), fanden sich drei Stränge “Meline” (Merino mit Leinen) in Farbe ml8010d (das ist ein frühlingshaftes Gelbgrün) und als besonderes Schmankerl ein extra großer Strang “Peruba” (Babyalpaka) in Grünmeliert. Was für ein wunderbares Garn das ist, unglaublich fein und weich, und die Farben sind sowieso zum Anbeißen. Danke, Dagmar, ich bin total überwältigt! 🙂

Was aus dem Garn werden soll? Nun, die “Meline” mit ihrem Leinenanteil ist vorgesehen für einen Sommerpulli. Der Winter ist nämlich genau die richtige Zeit, um so etwas zu planen und zu stricken. 😉 Und aus der traumhaft schönen “Peruba” wird etwas Zart-Löchriges. Sobald ich fertig damit bin, es zu streicheln und zu knuddeln, fange ich mit den Überlegungen an, es kann also noch ein Weilchen dauern!

Wollerey “Peruba”, 100 % Baby-Alpaca

Today a parcel from the “Wollerey” arrived. Its outer appearance was rather inconspicuous, but inside, beautifully packed in fine wrapping tissue (in my favourite colour) were three hanks of “Meline” (merino wool with linen) in colour ml8010d (a springlike green with yellow) and as an extra special treat a large hank of “Peruba” (baby alpaca) in greenish tones. What a wonderful yarn, so fine and soft, and the colours are delicious. Thank you, Dagmar, I’m totally stunned!

“Meline” with its linen content is earmarked for a summer shell. I believe that winter is the perfect time of year to plan and knit for summer. 😉 And the gorgeous “Peruba” will become something delicate and holey. As soon as I’ve finished fondling and cuddling it, I’ll start to think about it. You see, it may as well take some time!
